The ICO and the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics have agreed to establish a joint prize reserved for researchers from <\/span>\n \n developing countries<\/u>\n <\/a>\ufeff<\/span>, who are active in optics and photonics and have contributed to the promotion of research activities in their own or another developing country. The candidates should be either less than\n 40 years old or alternatively within twelve (12) years of the completion of their first PhD, by 1 dec of the present year, excluding career breaks (e.g., eldercare, maternity or paternity leave, adoption). <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
